Dr Varsha Tanu, having a professional experience of around 20 years in diverse fields of academic, research, development and social sectors. Self- motivated professional with progressive cross functional experiences, have been an enthusiastic result oriented team player with high integrity and interpersonal skills combined with an outstanding and demonstrated track record of administration, management, project planning and execution.
Done her Post-graduation and M.Phil ( Master of Philosophy) from prestigious Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University, later completed my Ph. D., MBA, Second Masters in Sociology and Post Graduate Diploma in Travel and Tourism Management. Currently, during the lock down period, pursuing two online courses from ‘School of Health and Medicine’ and School of Social Sciences’ of Harvard University.

She started her journey in the year of 2012 when she saw that the marginalized people of India are weeping due to Hunger, Unemployment, and Social Discrimination.She decided to stand beside them. I started to stand with the children of Sex Workers, HIV (+) patients, Home Less & Drug Addicted people etc. Thought that for construct medical, rehabilitation unit or any other vocational training unit Lands are highly required. According to her thought she made Land Bank. Then formed “People Democratic Rights” in the year 2016, its a social welfare and human rights protected organization to eliminate the terrible condition of indigent persons. I and also holding different portfolio in various organization and selected as the Ambassador of India in United Nation World Peace Association. She is a United Nation Volunteer. Presently working for the trafficking survivors and the sex workers trough Durbar Mahila Samity. She passed MBA with specialization in H.R. and obtained M.A in Journalism and Mass communication. Honors graduate in English. The last two degree from Calcutta University and MBA from Sikkim Manipal University.

An enthusiastic Climate Reality Leader in Climate Reality Project, graduate in BBA, Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies, Pune. She attended the first-ever global leadership corps’ training of The Climate Reality Project led by Nobel Laureate and former US Vice President Al gore. She belongs to Core Management Team, ExploreiT, Pune, from December 2018 to present. Head of Finance, Enactus SCMS Pune June’19 - May’20 Led the team to develop Project Kalam (Paper pens), sold 100 pens on our launch date. Co-Director of Community Service, Rotaract Club of Koregaon Park, August’18 – June’19. Organised food donation, plantation drive, blanket donations. Partnered with our parent rotary in an immunisation campaign established by the government of India to administer polio drops to 70 kids under the age of 5 years around Koregaon Park. She completed the Leader Level of the Tide Turners Plastic Challenge organised by UNEP, May’20. She volunteered at the RISE World Summit, January 2020, managed the event registrations and behind the scenes operations. She Represented the Indian School of Business as their campus ambassador to promote their Young Leaders Program (ISB YLP), She Qualified for level 2 of ICAI Commerce Wizard 2019, January’20. SheVolunteered at SCMS’ PIWAT process to guide potential students in their journey of joining SCMS. SheVolunteered with the Climate Reality Project in organising multiple marathons. She Secured second position out of 30+ teams at The Entrepreneurial Crisis at Egnite’18 organised by Delhi University, October’18. She Worked as a crew member at Panorama, the photography, videography and graphic design club of SCMS Pune, September’18 – March’19. She worked as the core committee member of the Finance Department at Sympulse, SCMS Pune’s annual college fest, September’18 – January’19.
